PDF tools that never ask for your file
PDF100 is a free collection of 100 PDF and document tools built around one rule: your document stays on your device.
Why it exists
Most free PDF websites need you to upload a document before they can do anything with it. For a menu or a flyer that is fine. For a passport scan, a signed contract or a medical letter, it means handing a copy to a company you know little about, then trusting its deletion policy.
Modern browsers are powerful enough to do this work locally. PDF100 sends you the processing code instead of asking for your file, so merging, compressing, converting, signing, protecting and redacting all happen on your own computer or phone.
How it works
Each tool page loads open-source PDF libraries such as pdf.js and pdf-lib into your browser. When you choose a file, it is read into memory, processed there and offered back as a download. Closing the tab clears it.
Every tool has an automated test suite that runs it on real sample documents and checks the output. That includes multi-page files, encrypted files and broken input.
How it is funded
PDF100 is free and supported by advertising. Ads never see the files you open, and visitors in regions that require it are asked for consent first. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
