About Merge PDF
Merge PDF joins two or more PDF files into a single document. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable, links keep working and nothing is re-rendered or blurred.
Add your files, put them in the order you want, and download one combined PDF. Everything happens in your browser tab, which makes it a good fit for contracts, invoices and other documents you would rather not upload.
When to use it
- Combining a signed contract with its appendices before sending it back
- Joining monthly invoices or bank statements into one file for your accountant
- Putting a cover letter, CV and certificates together for a job application
- Collecting separately scanned pages into one document
Tips for better results
- Check the file order before merging, because the first file in the list becomes page one.
- If one file is huge, run it through Compress PDF first so the merged result is easier to email.
- Need only some pages from a file? Use Extract pages on it first, then merge.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before they can be merged.
Merge PDF questions
Does merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Merge PDF copies the original pages into the new file without converting them, so text, images and vector graphics look exactly as they did before.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
You need at least two files. There is no fixed maximum; the practical limit is your device memory, so very large batches work best on a computer.
Is Merge PDF free?
Yes. Merge PDF on PDF100 is free with no account, no watermark and no daily limit. The site is supported by advertising.
Are my files uploaded when I use Merge PDF?
No. Merge PDF runs entirely inside your browser tab. The file is read and processed on your device and the result is saved straight to your downloads, so no copy reaches our servers.
Which files does Merge PDF accept?
Merge PDF accepts .pdf, and you can add several files at once. The result is: one merged pdf.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit set by PDF100. Because processing happens on your device, the practical limit is your browser memory. Very large files work best on a desktop computer.
Does Merge PDF work on my phone?
Yes. Merge PDF works in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on desktop and mobile. Large documents are faster on a computer.
