About Split PDF

Split PDF breaks one document into several smaller PDFs. You can split by custom page ranges such as 1-3, 4-6, 7-last, cut the file every N pages, or turn every page into its own PDF.

All parts are packed into a single ZIP download. The pages are copied without re-rendering, so each part keeps the original quality.

When to use it

  • Separating a batch scan of many receipts or forms into individual files
  • Sending only the relevant chapter of a long report
  • Splitting a large PDF into smaller parts to get under an email attachment limit
  • Breaking an exam or worksheet bundle into one file per student

Tips for better results

  • Use “last” in a range (for example 10-last) so you don’t need to know the exact page count.
  • Choose “Every N pages” for regular documents, such as two-page forms scanned in one batch.
  • If you only need one set of pages as a single file, Extract pages is quicker than splitting.
