Privacy Policy

Effective 9 October 2026

This policy explains what information is processed when you use pdf100.org (“PDF100”, “we”). Contact: eden.w@cometlumen.com.

1. Your documents

Files you open in a PDF100 tool are processed entirely in your web browser and are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. We cannot see, access, store or recover them. When you close the tab, the file is gone from the page's memory.

Exception: the OCR tools download language recognition data from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr) the first time you use them. This request contains no part of your document, but like any web request it reveals your IP address to that network.

2. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and requested page in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use the visitor's country, derived from the request, only to decide which privacy notice to show. We do not use analytics cookies.

3. Advertising

PDF100 is funded by Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and, with your consent where required, to personalize them. Ad scripts cannot read files you open in a tool.

Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

We also use Google Reader Revenue Manager to occasionally show short, optional reader surveys. Google processes your survey answers and related usage data under the Google Privacy Policy. Answering is voluntary, you can dismiss a survey at any time, and the survey script cannot read files you open in a tool.

4. Consent and your choices

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked before any advertising cookies are set, and only non-personalized ads are shown until consent is given. Visitors in the United States can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out.

You can change your choice at any time using “Privacy choices” in the site footer. Details of the cookies involved are in our Cookie Policy.

5. Legal bases (EEA and UK)

We process request data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website, and advertising cookies on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we do not hold your documents or an account for you, most requests will concern advertising data held by Google, which you can manage through the links above. For anything else, contact eden.w@cometlumen.com.

7. Children

PDF100 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Changes

We will update the effective date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
